Sia is an Australian pop singer and songwriter. Born on December 18, 1975, Sia Kate Isabelle Furler was part of the 1990s in an acid jazz group from Adelaide called Crisp. In 1997, she released her first solo album, OnlySee, under the name Sia Furler. Subsequently, she moved to the United Kingdom, where she collaborated as a vocalist for the band Zero 7. She continued her solo career with the albums Healing Is Difficult (2001) and Colour the Small One (2004).
In 2005, Sia moved to New York City. She released the albums Some People Have Real Problems (2008) and We Are Born (2010). As a composer, the Australian also wrote songs for artists such as Christina Aguilera, Rihanna and Beyoncé.
Sia achieved a great success as the album 000 Forms of Fear (2014), which featured the single "Chandelier". His music video became a hit on Youtube.
Her seventh solo album, This Is Acting, came out in 2016. Produced by Greg Kurstin, her next album, Everyday Is Christmas, was released in 2017. In 2021, she released Music – Songs from and Inspired by the Motion Picture, soundtrack from film directed by the singer herself.
In Reasonable Woman, a work from 2024, the singer featured contributions from her countrywoman Kylie Minogue on the track "Dance Alone" and Chaka Khan on "Immortal Queen", among others.
