Christine and the Queens is the stage name chosen by the French singer and songwriter Héloïse Letissier. Born on June 1, 1988 in Nantes, Letissier, who studied theater, is attached, in addition to music, to photography, video and drawing.
In music, she released her first album, Chaleur humaine, in 2014. The album was rated one of the best of the year by publications such as NME, Guardian, The Independent and Mojo.
Her second album, Chris, was released in 2018. In 2020, Christine and the Queens released the EP La vita nuova. A new full-length album, Redcar les adorables étoiles, arrived in 2022. Redcar les adorables étoiles is the first part of a thematic series that had its continuation in Paranoia, Angels, True Love (2023), consisting of the second, third and fourth parts.
