American Albert Hammond Jr. is best known as guitarist and keyboardist for the band The Strokes. Born on April 9, 1980 in Los Angeles, California, the musician, who has already revealed that he has The Velvet Underground, The Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, Frank Black and John Lennon as some of his influences, started in 2006, in parallel with his band career, his solo career, releasing the album Yours To Keep. Two years later, he released ¿Cómo Te Llama?.
His third album, Momentary Masters, arrived in 2015. Following Hammond Jr. released Francis Trouble (2018) and Melodies on Hiatus (2023).
