Luna is released through the subscription service Sonic Cathedral Singles Club a 7” single that brings on the A-side a cover of the song “Something In The Air” by the British band Thunderclap Newman sung by guitarist Sean Eden. This version came out as a bonus on the cover album A Sentimental Education, which the band released in 2017. On the B-side there are two instrumental songs, “The Oort Cloud / Kuiper Belt”.
Recalling that in 2017, the group released an EP with six instrumental tracks, entitled A Place of Greater Safety.
“Something In The Air”
The aforementioned “Something In The Air” was originally released in 1969 on Hollywood Dream, the only album by the British group Thunderclap Newman, which was produced by Pete Townshend of The Who. The musician also helped form the band.
In July 1969, "Something in the Air" spent three weeks at the top of the British singles chart. The song has already been performed by artists such as Eurythmics, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Wilco, Polyphonic Spree, among others.
