Panda Bear is the stage name adopted by the American Noah Lennox in the late 1990s. He is also known as a member and co-founder of Animal Collective. The musician's music fits into genres such as psychedelic pop, electronica, post-rock, and experimental. His first solo album, Panda Bear, was released in 1998, when he was twenty years old, on the Soccer Star Records label. In 2004 came the second, entitled Young Prayer.
In 2007, Panda Bear released the acclaimed Person Pitch, which was followed by the album Tomboy, a work mixed by producer Sonic Boom and released in 2011. Sonic Boom returned to work with Noah Lennox on Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper, an album released in January 2015. The sixth album titled Buoys was released in 2019.
Reset, a collaborative album with Sonic Boom, was released in 2022.
