Wild Nothing

Wild Nothing is a dream pop musical project created by Jack Tatum in 2009. Previously, the young American played in the bands Jack and the Whale and Facepaint, in the university city of Blacksburg, in the state of Virginia.

Jack Tatum began to gain attention on the indie music scene with a cover of the song "Cloudbusting" by Kate Bush, originally released on the English singer's album 'Hounds of Love' (1985).

Wild Nothing signed to the Captured Tracks label and Jack Tatum began touring with bassist Jeff Haley, guitarist Nathan Goodman and drummer Max Brooks. The group released their first single, "Summer Holiday", in 2009. “Cloudbusting” came out next. The band released their first album the following year, titled Gemini. The album was critically acclaimed, making it onto Pitchfork Media's best of the year list.

In 2012, the band again received critical praise with their second album, Nocturne. The Empty Estate EP, released the following year, was also well received by several publications. Life of Pause, the third album, came out in 2016.

Wild Nothing released its fourth album, Indigo, in 2018. Five years later, Hold arrived, a work that features Hatchie on the track "Headlights On".
