The official Cocteau Twins YouTube channel yesterday shared a series of “revamped” videos from the band. "Evangeline", "Bluebeard", "Crushed", "Love's Easy Tears", "Tishbite", "Rilkean Heart And Half-Gifts" and "Aikea-Guinea" are available remastered in 1080p (HD) resolution, from their tapes originals.
In recent years, the 4AD record label has re-released the Scottish trio's albums. Now, it's the turn of The Moon and the Melodies, a collaborative album recorded in partnership with the American minimalist composer Harold Budd (1936-2020). Released in 1986, the band's name does not appear on the album, but rather the names of the three members (Elizabeth Fraser, Robin Guthrie and Simon Raymonde) and Budd.

Cocteau Twins in a few lines
Cocteau Twins were formed in Scotland in 1978 and remained active until 1997, having released eight studio albums. Perhaps it is the band that best defines the term dream pop in its music.
