Frenchwoman Laetitia Sadier is best known as the lead singer of the English band Stereolab. Born on May 6, 1968, Sadier met Tim Gane, a member of the English band McCarthy, when they were touring Paris in the late 1980s. She went to London with Tim Gane and the two formed Stereolab shortly after the end of the band McCarthy.
In addition to being a vocalist and lyricist in Stereolab, she contributes by playing keyboards, guitar, percussion and trombone.
