When you think of the English electronic music band Sneaker Pimps, the image that comes to mind is that of lead singer Kelli Dayton, an image that has been fixed for all these years by the videos for the hits "6 Underground" and "Spin Spin Sugar", from their first album, Becoming X, released in 1996.
Interestingly, despite the success of their debut, Kelli Dayton was dismissed from the band before the recording of their second album. Sneaker Pimps released three more albums, but without the excitement of the first. Kelli began a solo career under the name Kelli Ali, but without any buzz either.
The Sun summarizes Kelli Ali's career. Check it out here.
Now 50 years old, the singer also dedicates herself to creating paintings and drawings. See her work at https://kelliali.bigcartel.com.
