Frenchwoman Laetitia Sadier is best known as the lead singer of the English band Stereolab. Born on May 6, 1968, Sadier met Tim Gane, a member of the English band McCarthy, when they were touring Paris in the late 1980s. She went to London with Tim Gane and the two formed Stereolab shortly after the end of the band McCarthy.
In addition to being a vocalist and lyricist in Stereolab, she contributes by playing keyboards, guitar, percussion and trombone. With a peculiar and experimental pop music, which received influences from bossa nova, Krautrock and film soundtracks, the band received acclaim during the 1990s, when they released some of their main albums, such as Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements (1993) , Mars Audiac Quintet (1994) and Emperor Tomato Ketchup (1996).

Laetitia Sadier returned in 2014 with a new orchestral album titled Something Shines. That year, she appeared on Brazilian band Mombojó's album Alexandre, singing on the track "Summer Long". In 2027, under the name Laetitia Sadier Source Ensemble, the artist released Find Me Finding You, a work that features more than 20 collaborators.
