Lady Gaga, Chuck D, Billie Joe Armstrong e Katy Perry comentam morte de Osama Bin Laden

Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, Billie Joe Armstrong do Green Day (foto) e Chuck D do Public Enemy são alguns dos músicos que expressaram publicamente o que pensam sobre a morte de Osama Bin Laden, fundador da Al-Qaeda, por soldados norte-americanos.

No Twitter, Katy Perry disse: "Acredito na justiça... Mas não pensam que olho por olho vai deixar o mundo cego?", acrescentando mais tarde: "Mas no geral (e depois disso volto a ser uma estrela pop sem opinião), este é um grande dia para a América e sinto-me orgulhosa por ser americana". Também no Twitter, Lady GaGa escreveu: "Acabei de chegar. Estou vendo a CNN. Que momento histórico na luta contra o ódio".
 
O vocalista do Green Day expressou-se da seguinte forma: "Não transformem o homem num mártir. Isto é uma vitória global". Por seu lado, Chuck D apostou numa abordagem sarcástica: "USA de volta ao jogo. Número um no ranking do campeonato da matança. Roubando o ouro nos Jogos Olímpicos do assassinato. E o público fica louco". (Blitz)
