The Black Keys announce new album and share single “Beautiful People (Stay High)”

The Black Keys begin 2024 by releasing the single “Beautiful People (Stay High)” and announcing their twelfth studio album.

Ohio Players

Ohio Players will arrive on April 5th. The title originates from the funk band Ohio Players, who became best known in the 1970s with the singles "Fire" and "Love Rollercoaster".

Patrick Carney promises a more fun album:

What we wanted to accomplish with this record was make something that was fun. And something that most bands 20 years into their career don’t make, which is an approachable, fun record that is also cool.

“Beautiful People (Stay High)”, the first sample of this album, already brings that spirit of fun promised by the drummer.

This song features songwriting and production collaborations with Beck and Dan “The Automator” Nakamura.
