Susanne Sundfør is a Norwegian singer and songwriter who has her music influenced by genres such as electronica, jazz, folk and classical music, and labeled as synth-pop. Sundfør, born March 19, 1986, began to appear on the pop scene in her country from 2006 onwards. The following year, she released her self-titled debut album. The albums The Brothel (2010), A Night at Salle Pleyel (2011) and The Silicone Veil (2012) followed. A Night at Salle Pleyel is an instrumental album.
In 2013, Sundfør collaborated with M83 on the soundtrack for the film "Oblivion". The singer released a new album in 2015, entitled Ten Love Songs, which was critically acclaimed in her country. Her sixth album, Music for People in Trouble, was released in 2017. In 2023, she returned with Blómi, an album dedicated to her family, especially her daughter, born in 2020, and her grandfather.
